On Cue: A taste of TV for a while

It is always been my dream to work for ABS-CBN ever since. And that dream of mine was realize when the TV News department of ABS-CBN asked our DYAB desk if they could lend three interns to be part of their team during the Sinulog 2011 Grand Mardi Gras. Luckily, I was one of those chosen interns.

I was paired with Ms. Carmi Cavanlit and her cameraman. We were assigned at Fuente Osmeña Circle
up to the gate of Cebu City Sports Complex. We have to do a tape as live reporting of what is happening outside the Grandstand. The tasked that was assigned to me was not that easy. I could not imagined how many times I walked from Fuente Osmeña to Cebu City Sports Complex because I need to give the tape of the report we had recorded for its airing.
Amidst the aching feet and cramp muscles, I was still eager to give my best in everything we did for that day. Being with Ms. Carmi is so amazing. It is maybe because we are both Josenians. She shared a lot of her experiences in work that made me realized that I really want to be in the Media.
But, what I like more with my partner is that, in everything I did for her on that day, was she never fails to say thank you. Its really worth the tiresome tasks.
